Purpose is everything – It’s part of the reason for this
Christian Lifestyle blog!
So many Christian women are unsure of their purpose. It goes beyond spreading the Gospel and raising children. God may use your purpose as a tool to help you succeed at spreading the Gospel.
Let’s talk about it!
What the Bible Says About Purpose
We all want to know why we’re here.
The world offers countless opinions, but the Bible gives us clear truth: you were created for a reason.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
This isn’t just a comforting verse—it’s a declaration. God’s purpose for your life isn’t random. According to Ephesians 2:10, you are “created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” That means your gifts, personality, and passions are all part of God’s design.
If you’re unsure about your purpose, here’s a prayer for guidance and direction:
Prayer:
“Father, help me discern the path You’ve laid out for me. Give me clarity and confirmation through Your Word and the Holy Spirit. Reveal the next step and give me boldness to walk in it. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Journal Prompt:
- What do I believe God is calling me to do in this season?
- What unique talents or burdens has He placed on my heart?
- What doors seem to be opening or closing?
If you get anything from this Christian lifestyle blog, I pray it is understanding God has a purpose for you at this very moment.

How to Grow in Faith Daily
Faith is like a muscle.
It grows stronger when it’s stretched, tested, and exercised.
One of the greatest tragedies among long-time believers is becoming spiritually stagnant.
Romans 10:17 tells us, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
That means reading the Bible isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Try building a simple routine:
- Begin each day with a short Christian devotional for women
- Spend time reading Scripture
- Write down what the Holy Spirit is saying to you
- End with prayer
Prayer to Grow in Faith:
“Lord, increase my faith. Teach me to trust You more each day, especially when I don’t understand. Fill my heart with belief and confidence in Your promises.”
Journal Prompts:
- What area of my life needs more faith?
- When have I seen God come through for me in the past?
- What Scriptures challenge me to believe God more deeply?
Another important topic on our journey to find our purpose in Christ is to learn to wait on Him. This Christian lifestyle blog explores the concept of waiting often.
How do I grow in my faith?
Put it to work. Read your Bible, journal to transform your mind and wait on the Lord.
How to Wait on God Without Losing Hope
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian journey.
Whether you’re waiting on a job, healing, a breakthrough in your marriage, or clarity about your calling—waiting tests our faith like nothing else.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” – Isaiah 40:31
God never wastes a waiting season. He uses it to refine our character, draw us closer, and prepare us for the next chapter.
If you’re in a season of waiting, pray for patience and peace.
Prayer for Waiting on God:
“Father, help me to wait well. While I wait, let me serve You with a whole heart. Teach me to trust Your timing and to remain faithful in the small things.”
Journal Prompts:
- What is God teaching me in this waiting season?
- How can I stay active in faith while I wait?
- What do I need to surrender?
Read this post on trusting God in every season.
Seek God’s purpose for your life is challenges, I’ve established so is waiting. But, here is the seasoning salt in the whole process. It’s the waiting.
You will find the concept of trusting God in hard times will re-emerge often on this Christian lifestyle blog. Very often.

Trusting God in Hard Times
No one wants hard times, but they are inevitable.
Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
Trust is a choice, especially when everything around you is screaming fear, anxiety, or despair.
When you can’t trace God’s hand, trust His heart. He’s working behind the scenes, even when you don’t feel Him.
Prayer for Hard Times:
“Lord, this season is hard, and I don’t see the way forward. But I trust You. I believe You’re working even now. Help me not to lean on my own understanding, but in all my ways acknowledge You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Journal Prompts:
- What pain or worry do I need to give to God today?
- How has He been faithful to me in the past?
- What truth from Scripture can I hold on to right now?
The result of operating in your God-given purpose, waiting on the Lord , trusting Him in the uncertainty of life wil lead you to a blessed place of peace.
Search the bar up top on the right and you’ll find lots of content on being in a peaceful place and how to remain there. A Christian lifestyle blog that connects the dots – that is my ambition.

Prayer for Peace and Calm in a Busy World
With everything going on—news, social media, family responsibilities—it’s easy to feel anxious.
But Philippians 4:6–7 tells us exactly what to do:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
And what happens when we do that?
“The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Prayer for Peace:
“Father, calm my mind and settle my heart. Let Your peace rule in every area of my life. Teach me to stay focused on You, not on the chaos around me.”
Journal Prompts:
- What are my top three stressors?
- How can I invite God into each of those?
- What does peace look like for me practically?
