I’m Terri “Teri T. C.” Wilson—a woman with a heart full of stories, lessons learned the hard way, and a whole lot of faith. Ready to learn about Teri – or me?
I’m the voice behind GodsyGirl.com, a Christian lifestyle blog created for women who love Jesus but also wrestle with real-life stuff—grief, growth, doubt, and daily faith. I write like I talk: like we’re sitting at the kitchen table, sipping coffee, laughing, sometimes crying, and always keeping it real.
But behind the posts and podcasts is a real woman. So here’s a bit more about me, the “Teri” behind the blog.
A Little Bit About Me
- I’ve been a Christian for over 35 years, and I’m still learning what it means to fully trust God.
- I’m married to a wonderful pastor, and yes, I’m a pastor’s wife—but I don’t fit the cookie-cutter mold, and I don’t pretend to.
- I spell my name a couple of ways – but only one legally. :)
- I have two incredible adult sons who’ve taught me more about grace and patience than any book ever could.
- I’m also walking through grief right now after losing two close family members. So when I write about heartbreak, I’m not quoting—I’m living it.
My Professional Side (Yes, I Have One!)
I hold a Master’s in Adult Education and Human Resources (M.Ed.) and have worked in corporate training, instructional design, and leadership development for over 20 years.
- I’m certified in MBTI, DISC, True Colors, and several other behavioral training programs.
- I’ve served as a training manager, consultant, trainer, and speaker. I’ve worked for organizations like the Federal Reserve Bank, Girl Scouts, and various nonprofits.
- I’ve led hundreds of women’s workshops—from soft skills to spiritual growth—and I’m passionate about helping women become their best selves, both professionally and spiritually.
So yes, I’m a faith-filled woman with a strong head on my shoulders. I know how to write, teach, and lead—while still clinging to God in all of it.

Just for Fun (Because I’m Not Always So Serious)
- I’m a makeup junkie—you’ll rarely catch me without eyeliner, even if I’m just going to Walmart.
- I love to cook and collect kitchen gadgets I rarely use.
- I’m a huge fan of classic gospel music, and I cry every time I hear “Total Praise.”
- I’m an introvert who teaches like an extrovert, then needs a nap afterward.
- I have a dog who’s basically human and has more personality than most people I know. I don’t really own him, but he’s my dog in my head. His name is Jackson. :)
- I once started a nonprofit for single moms and ran monthly workshops that made the news.
- I write about women’s ministry topics here.
- I’m over 50 and loving it—wrinkles and wisdom included.
