Online Mentoring for Pastor’s Wives
Occasionally, I also offer online mentoring for pastor’s wives. I explain the process.
Here’s how it works:
You will meet me online several times throughout the month. I use teleconferencing software to accomplish this. All you need is an internet connection and a microphone in your phone, laptop or computer. They are built into most systems, so no problem.
What we will do in the pastor’s wives mentoring session…
During this time, we will discuss specific challenges you’re experiencing as a pastor’s wife and then create realistic doable strategic plans to overcome them.
This may sound daunting to some, but it’s designed to bring about meaningful change and victory in the lives of pastor’s wives.
This process will also include actionable steps to get you toward your ministry goal. Don’t worry, I will hold you accountable and support you along the way.
Q. How do we find what works for both of us – you and I?
During our time together, you are able to “adjust the settings” so to speak.
You can say “I would like to hear from you a little bit less” or possibly a little bit more. We will figure out what works best for you.
The “big picture” of your ministry … let’s define it!
Planning women’s ministry activities is really just one part of women’s ministry.
The activities, in fact, are the smallest part of ministry. Numerous people make this mistake. They plan lots of events without consideration of how the events fit into the “big picture” of ministry or without examining effectiveness.
No plan…limited success.
The most important part of planning women’s ministry activities is having a plan or a conceptual framework to guide not only a specific activity but all activities.
Another way to state this is you need to know where the activities fit into the big picture of what God is telling you to do. Not to mention the “big picture” of the church you attend.
This is the only way that you’ll be successful in fulfilling your purpose.
No judgment…Ever!
To be clear: some people just like throwing random parties and some people just like throwing women’s ministry events. If that’s you, it’s OK. It only means my coaching experience would not accomplish much for you.
The coaching/mentoring is for women who are commissioned by God to impact the lives of other women in specific ways. For these women, ministry is really a sort of a call or a life mission for them.
