Recently, a Florida woman destroyed a satanic display at the state’s capital. The Christian Post featured an interesting article detailing the incident. In my recent conviction to be more relevant and bold in my Christian faith, I say a hearty “YAY-YUH”!
Now, I don’t advocate vandalism or doing anything to hurt others, but I celebrate Ms. Susan Hemeryck of Florida for standing for Godliness! She embodied the spirit of David when he fought Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:26 and boldly declared “who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” A GodsyGirl warrior, for sure!
I challenge you (and me, too) to find ways to express our Christian beliefs to a dark and dying world. People need to know we are here, unintimidated and willing to be salt and light. Further, new Christians must know they are not alone in their beliefs. Shame on the Christians running scared, standing silent and hiding from Satan. They do not understand their authority and that is sad.
As for Ms. Hemeryck, I pray for God to bless her faithfulness, to protect her both naturally and in the spirit. I pray that no weapon formed against her will prosper and that the mighty angels of the Lord will protect her now and forevermore, in Jesus name.
